at the Cumberland County Hospital Emergency Room

He was the son of the late Elic & Lura Grant Burton

He is survived by two sons: Jerry Burton & his wife Cindi & Jimmy Burton & his wife Teresa Burton of Columbia, Ky.

Three daughters: Judy Beard & her husband Louie of Columbia, Ky.,

Janie Burton of Columbia, Ky. & Jana Lynn Jessee & her husband Rev. Kenneth of Hardinsburg, Ky.

Two brothers: Elic Burton, Jr. of Edinburgh, IN & Glen Burton of Columbia, Ky.

9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survives

He was preceded in death by two brothers & three sisters: Nolan Burton, James E. "Booger" Burton

Lorene Hadley, Betty Patterson & Lydia Cook

He faithfully attended the Chapel services at Cumberland Valley Manor Nursing Home, was a logger & farmer
