Clara Amelia West, age 82, of Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her residence. She was born on January 24, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John Glenn and Bessie May Shaw Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. West Sr.

Ms. West was in multiple bowling leagues throughout her life, enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include six children Cindy Roberts (Charles) of Columbia, KY, Glenn West (Mary Ann) of Severn, MD, Denise Black (James) of Brooksville, KY, Kim Roberts (Albert) of Cincinnati, OH, Donald L. West Jr. of Cincinnati, OH, and John Glenn West of California; 17 Grandchildren; 31 Great Grandchildren; and her sister Jo Ann Smith of Cincinnati, OH.

Ms. West chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
