Charles Willard Wilkerson age 83 years of the Neatsville

community passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015

Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY

He was born on Feb. 8, 1931 in Campbellsville, KY

He was the son of the late Albert Squire & Emma Lois Lemmon Wilkerson

Preceded in death by a grandson Sean Wilkerson

He is survived by one daughter Rena McCloud of Lexington, KY

Four sons Ken (Lynda) Wilkerson of Columbia, KY,

Terry (Janet) Wilkerson of Columbia, KY

Jeffrey Wilkerson of Columbia, KY & Lyndon (Carol) Wilkerson of Campbellsville , KY

One sister Alice Faye Wingler of Pellyton, KY

7 Grandchildren Rob Wilkerson, Tara Wilkerson, Tressie Roy,

Logan Wilkerson, Craig McCloud, Carson McCloud & Michael Shane Wilkerson

10 Great Grandchildren,1 Great Great Grandchild

former wife & friend Rose Wilkerson Burton of Campbellsville, KY

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was a member of Pellyton United Methodist Church,

worked in the timber industry, a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his

country in the United States Army, he received the Silver Star, Bronze Star,

Purple Heart & numerous other awards

Funeral service Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Pellyton United Methodist Church

Clergy officiating Rev. Jim Williams

Interment in Pellyton Cemetery with full military honors presented by

the local VFW Post 6097
