Rev. Charles R. Tone age 80 years of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:45 AM at Signature Health at Summit Manor.

He was born on March 4, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio.         .

He was the son of the late August Adolph  & Clara Welsh Tone.

He was preceded in death by Six brothers Paul Tone, Albert Tone, Herb Tone, Joe Tone & Tom Tone & George Tone.

Survived by his wife:

Jane Ware Tone of Columbia, KY.

One daughter:

Robin (Donnie) Cornelison of Columbia, KY.

Three sisters:

Ruth Huff,  Rosemary Leist & Janet Precht all of Cincinnati, Ohio.

3 Grandchildren Ronnie (Whitney) Cornelison, Cameron (Lauren) Cornelison

& Candace (Adam) Sneed.

6 Great Grandchildren.

Several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Rev. Tone was retired ordained pastor in the Nazarene Church & United Methodist Church, locally had pastored at the Glensfork Nazarene Church in Adair County & in Clinton County at Lands Chapel & Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

Funeral service Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Clergy officiating Rev. David Stearns & Rev. Steve Pescosolido

Interment in Cane Valley Cemetery.

Visitation after 4:00 PM Tuesday & after 6:00 AM Wednesday until 11:30 AM

at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home & after 12 noon Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
