Eugene Darnell age 76 years of Dyersburg, TN formerly of

Adair County passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his

residence

He was born August 31, 1936 in Adair County, Ky.

He was the son of late Munford & Helen Christine Mitchum Darnell Morrison

and was preceded in death by his wife Mary Margaret Wallen Darnell

also a brother Calvin "Buddy" Louis Darnell

He is survived by one son Richard (Sylvia) Darnell of Dyersburg, TN

One daughter Patty (Ken)Zientara of Orland Park, IL

One step-daughter Sherri Ballinger of Dyersburg, TN

6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren

and a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was retired from the maintenance department at Lyons Township

High School, attended Holy Hills Baptist Church, a woodworker,

served his country in the U.S. Army,

collected knives & cars

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating Bro. Troy Long

Interment in the McClister Cemetery at Fairplay

with full military honors by local VFW
