away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 8:30 PM at the Westlake Regional Hospital

in Columbia, KY after an illness.

She was born April 10, 1919 in Clinton Co. KY the daughter of the late:

John & Myra Lou Guffey Birdwell

Preceded in death by her husband: William Fred Stearns on July 14, 1999

Preceded in death by an infant daughter: Reba Mae Stearns and one son:

George Elvin Stearns in 1998

Survived by one daughter: Louise Williams of Lafayette, TN

Three sons:

Norman Stearns and wife Judy of Columbia, KY

J.T. Stearns of Columbia, KY

Billy Stearns and wife: Janice of Columbia, KY

Survived by 10 grand children, 5 great grandchildren and by several nieces nephews

Survived by a special friend: Loreeta Darling of Columbia, KY

Mrs. Stearns was a member of the New Hope Separate Baptist Church and a homemaker
