She was born on July 14, 1945 in Adair County, KY

She was the daughter of the late Jesse & Emma Telia Hadley Burton

She is survived by her husband:

David Janes of Columbia, KY

Carl L. Smith & his wife Stella of Columbia, KY

Samuel J. Janes & his wife Kelly of Lexington, KY

Two sisters:

Bernice (Avery) Rooks of Columbia, KY

Linda Bell of Columbia, KY

One Brother:

J. D. Burton Edinburgh, IN

8 Grandchildren

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Geraldine Burton, Fredia Ruth Burton, Edith Streeval, Glenna Compton, Margie Burton,

Four brothers: Jr. Burton, Golen Burton, Marshall Burton & Hueston Burton,

Half-brother Odie Burton & half sister Helen Irvin

Catherine was a member of Dutch Creek Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in

Burkesville, KY, had worked at Circle R Restaurant & was working at the Crammer Dining Center at Lindsey Wilson College
