CAROL ANN HANCOCK JANES, 82 of Louisville, KY formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY

She was born October 23, 1936 in Cane Valley, KY the daughter of the late Junius M. and Nancy E. Sublett Hancock

She was preceded in death by her only child Kenneth Wesley Janes on February 14, 2018

Survived by one grandson:   Nathan Victor Brummer of Minnesota

Survived locally by two sisters:

Betty Cundiff of Columbia, KY

Helen (Charlie) Sparks of Columbia, KY

Survived by several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Carol worked for  O.D. White Funeral Home and Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville for 25 years.

Joint funeral service for Carol Ann Hancock Janes and her son Kenneth Wesley Janes will be held Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 4:00 PM at  Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY

Burial at sunset in the Cane Valley Cemetery

Visiting will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday until the funeral home at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
