Carol Dee Coomer Johnson, 81, of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born on November 10, 1942, in Columbia, KY to the late Arnold Jacob and Mary Christine Flatt Coomer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stariet Johnson, a daughter Tina Johnson and three siblings Dwight, Betty Frances, and Charles Thomas Coomer.

Carol was a member of the Living by Faith Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was survived by her brother Doug Coomer (Joann) of Mt Washington, KY, a sister Patsy Wilson (Bruce) of Columbia, KY and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, January 19, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Bro. Bobby Withers and Bro. Randy Camfield will be officiating.
