7:50 P. M. at his home after an illness

He was the son of the late Vanis & Bessie Watson Grant of Adair County

Survived by his wife Cathy Akin Grant of Adolphus, Ky.

One son: Chris "Topper" Grant & his wife Kathy of Adolphus, Ky.

Preceded in death by one son: Curtis Grant on April 30, 1974 and

One Granddaughter: Amy Yvonne Grant on Nov. 21, 2004

Also surviving two Grandchildren: Eric Grant & his wife Brittany &

Eric's sister-in-law Chelssi Proctor, Daniel Grant & his wife Sabrina

Three Great Grandchildren: Cole Grant, Austin Grant & Kaydence Grant

One sister-in-law: Enola Grant of Adolphus, Ky.

Four brothers-in-law: Glen Akin & David Akin both of Columbia, Ky., Hugh Akin

Of Russell Springs, Ky. & Larry Akin of Slater, Iowa

Special friends: Al Thorsen & Jeromy Smith

Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was a believer in the Full Gospel Ministry, a lifetime member of the Operating Engineers & had served in the United States Army
