away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 3:15 PM at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY

He was born June 17, 1929 in Milltown, KY the son of the late: Charles Gilliam and Mattie (Rogers) Rogers

He was preceded in death by these siblings, Kermit Rogers, Clifton Rogers, Clevis Rogers,

Elsie Rogers, Ainer Ernest, Christine Martin, Julia Carter

Preceded in death by a close nephew: Tommy Rogers

Survived by his wife of 59 years: Joanna Gilpin Rogers of Louisville, KY

Survived by several nieces, nephews and good friends.

and by his beloved pet, Me Tu

Mr. Rogers was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, attended the Oasis Christ Fellowship in Ormond Beach Florida, a veteran of the Korean War and a retired truck driver, he was an avid NASCAR Racing fan and loved spending winters camping in Florida
