He was the son of the late Hollis & Bertie Brown Coomer

He is survived by his wife: Sylvia Gowen Coomer of Columbia, KY

One daughter: Sheila Sexton & husband Mike of Columbia, KY

One brother: Cordell Coomer of Milltown, KY

One sister: Ineze Blythe & husband Danvel of Louisville, KY

Two grandchildren: Melanie Isbell & husband Robbie & Matthew Sexton wife Aimee

Three great grandchildren: Asher Isbell, Asa Isbell & Mayes Sexton

Special nephew Rodney Blythe

also a host of other relatives & friends survives

He was a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church

& had worked at Edmonton Manufacturing
