Bro. Terry Lee White, 76, of Columbia, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Born March 9, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, Terry was the chosen son of Thomas Horace and Sybil White and has now joined them in heaven along with his special Uncle Dan and Aunt Agnes Stephenson who were more like grandparents to him, as he never knew his own. Also preceded in death by his father-in-law Robert Manuel, mother-in-law Betty Manuel and brother-in-law, Bob Manuel.

Terry received his high school diploma from Woodward Academy in College Park, GA and went to Cincinnati Bible Seminary where he received a B.A. in Christian Ministries. He then attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where he received his Doctor of Theology degree.

Throughout his life, Bro. Terry White, stayed true to his Lord Jesus Christ putting God first, others second and himself last. He looked forward to every Sunday so he could share God’s word. He gave a lot of thought to what his message might be each Sunday so his congregation might learn and continue to grow and mature in their personal relationship with Christ.

Terry faithfully served the Lord for over 50years, beginning at Coffee Creek Christian Church in Paris Crossing, IN (2 ½ yrs), Peachtree City Christian Church, Peachtree City, GA (2 ½ yrs), Fleming Christian Church, Augusta, GA (10 yrs), Columbia Christian Church (31 yrs) and after retirement, Tabernacle Christian Church (4 yrs), both in Columbia, KY.

Terry leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Marci Manuel White, his brother, Steve White of Kennesaw, GA, three children Benjamin Lee (Andrea) White of Brown County, IN, Joey Lee (Elizabeth) White of Columbia and Rebekah (Todd) McDaniel of Frankfort, KY and their children, the ones who called him “Papa”, Carter Lee, Alivia, Makayla, William, and Charlotte Leigh.

Terry also leaves behind a brother-in-law Dean (April) Manuel and a sister-in-law Pamela Manuel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his Columbia Christian Church family.

Funeral services will be 11:00am CST Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Columbia Christian Church with burial to follow in the Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm CST and will continue Monday after 8:00am CST at the Columbia Christian Church.

Bro. John Davis, Bro. Adam Shepard and Bro. Dean Manuel will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Steve White, Ritchie Moore, Wyman Dressel, Carter White, Todd McDaniel, Dean Manuel and Will McDaniel.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Columbia Christian Church for a future scholarship fund for young men entering the ministry.
