BRO. BUFORD HADLEY age 74 of the Cundiff Community of Adair County

passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2:40 PM at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY after several months illness.

He was born May 7, 1939 in Cundiff, KY

The son of the late Loren and Annie Cundiff Hadley

Survived by his wife: Margaret Ellen Sims Hadley of Cundiff, KY

One daughter: Kimberly and husband Samuel Poteet of Old Hickory, Tennessee

One son: Mark Hadley of Bowling Green, KY

One sister: Mary E. Hadley of Columbia, KY

Three grandchildren: Luke Hadley, Jeremiah Poteet, Josiah Poteet

Several nieces and nephews and by one special niece Adrian D. Hadley

Preceded in death by one sister: Jessie Sullivan

Bro. Hadley was the minister of the Melson Ridge Separate Baptist Church for over 25 years, he was also a farmer and was a member of the Oleika Shrine Temple, Columbia Lodge # 96, Past Master of Glensfork Masonic Lodge, a member of the Order of Eastern Star Russell 432 in Jamestown , KY

Funeral service: Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating: Bro. Michael Helm

Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery

The family request visitation after 3:00 PM on Friday at Stotts -Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
