Brenda Gayle Baker, 66, of Albany, KY and formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Pickett County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Byrdstown, TN. She was born on April 1, 1958, in Louisville, KY to the late Edward and Mildred Friese Dunbar. She was also preceded in death by a son Scotty Waters.

Mrs. Baker was a member of the Sparksville Church of Nazarene. Brenda was a talented country and gospel singer, recording many records and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Larry Baker of Albany, KY; two sons Dustin Wilt of Owensboro, KY and Cory Waters of Louisville, KY; two stepchildren Russell Baker of Albany, KY and Tammy Druin (Chad) of Panama City Beach, FL; seven grandchildren Kolton Wilt, Kaydan Wilt, Allison Wilt, Angel Waters, Cassidy Waters, Kadence Waters, and Gabe Waters; a sister Cindy Goate and several other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, June 28, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm and will continue Friday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
