Bolin Burris age 91 years of Ann Arbor, MI formerly of Columbia, KY

passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center.

He was born the son of the late Charlie and Dora (Barnes) Burris on

April 13, 1922 at Joppa in Adair, KY.

Bolin served his country in the Navy, and had been employed as a grounds keeper at the University of Michigan for 40 years. Not only did he work for the University of Michigan, but was an avid fan of the football and basketball teams. His other interests included rabbit hunting, playing poker and he was a long time walker at Briarwood Mall. Bolin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Christine,

his sisters-in-law, Juanita Tweedy and Edith Burris

several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives & friends

He was preceded in death by his brothers; James, Arvin,

his sisters; Floy, Alma, Dorothy and Mattie
