He was born on Jan. 25, 1931 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Milton & Lena Mae McIntyre Wheet

and was preceded in death by his wife Etha Mae Lewis Wheet

on Dec. 12, 2011, also preceded in death by one daughter

Gloria J. Peters on Nov. 24, 2003

one brother Simpson Wheet, two sisters Rachel Huddleston

& Jessie Hill

He is survived by two daughters:

Faye Harlan of Morris, IL

Janice L. Coffey of Columbia, KY

One sister:

Dimple Buck of Campbellsville, KY

6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild

a host of other relatives & friends survive

He attended Hutchison Community Church & retired from

General Motors in Chicago, IL
