passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 7:30 P.M. at his home in

Liberty after several weeks illness.

He was the son of the late: Zack & Emma Susan Willis Burton of Adair Co

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Jean Wethington Burton of Liberty, KY

Survived by one son: Lewis Joe Burton of Liberty, KY

Four daughters: Connie Baldock of Liberty, KY

Donna Maggard of Hustonville, KY Janice Harmon of Liberty, KY

Lee Ann Lee of Campbellsville, KY

Four brothers: Tommy Burton, Donald Gene Burton & Harold Burton

All of Columbia, KY and Phillip Burton of Bradenton, Florida

Three sisters: Mamie Cowan of Columbia, KY Dolly Burton of Columbia

Kentucky Sue Burton of Kokomo, Indiana

Survived by 16 grandchildren & 3 step grandchildren

3 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Bonnie Peek on Aug. 24, 2006

Preceded in death by a great grandchild and preceded in death by a

Special Godson: Little Bill Rogers in October 2006

also preceded in death by four brothers & two sisters: Dennis, Edward Lee, Delmer Lee & Freddy Burton & Hazel Curry & Faylene Herald

Mr. Burton worked in various sawmills and was a farmer
