passed away Friday, November 16, 2007 at 4:40 A.M. at the Summit Manor

Health and Rehab in Columbia, KY after several months illness.

Mr. Willis was a member and Deacon of the Columbia Baptist Church,

Former Adair County Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff for 9 ½ years,

Columbia Masonic Lodge # 96 for 51 years, a long time member of the

Board of Directors of Farm Bureau Insurance

He served in the US Air Force from 1950 until 1970, and was a dairy farmer

He was the son of the late: Evan & Bertha Breeding Willis of Adair Co. KY

Survived by his wife: Nancy Suddarth Willis of Columbia, KY

One son: Mark Willis and wife Susan of Columbia, KY

Six daughters:

Beverly Rothenberger and husband Don of Indianpolis, IN

Brenna Taylor and husband Jeff of Houston, TX

Jaime White and husband Bruce of Columbia, KY

Rose Mary Willis of Columbia, KY

Theresa West of Lexington, KY

Robin Hill and husband Ken of Houston, TX

12 grandchildren: Josh and Jordon Willis, Wesley, Kara and Laura Feese,

Joe and Amy Murray, Julie Taylor Sebren, Stephanie Taylor,

Michael Taylor, Rachel Hill, Nathan Hill

One brother: Danny Willis of Louisville, KY

Two sisters: Reba Stewart of Louisville, KY

Elizabeth Grubbs of Hodgenville, KY

He was preceded in death by a brother Glenn Willis in 2006

Columbia Baptist Church

Interment in the Murray-Todd Cemetery on the Willis farm
