away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY after several years illness.

Billy Joe was a retired engineer for CSX Railroad in Bowling Green, KY a member of Bassmaster's and the Barren River Rod and Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his father: James Parnell in 2003

Mr. Parnell is survived by his mother: Dorothy Mouser Parnell of Columbia, KY

One daughter: Angie Alexander & husband Scotty of Bowling Green, KY

One brother: Mike Parnell and wife Sherry of Columbia, KY

One sister: Carolyn Richard & husband Johnny of Columbia, KY

One grandson: Landon Alexander
