BILLIE ALICE COY age 69 years of 305 Trabue Street, Columbia, KY formerly of Edinburg, Indiana passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, KY after several weeks illness.

She was the daughter of the late: John Robert Scheckles and Flossie Thrasher Cook of Indiana

Survived by two daughters: Debra Giles and husband Jimmie of Lebanon, IN

Linda Byrd and husband Tommy of Columbia, KY

One son: Greg Kohr & wife Martha of Williamsburg, KY

Two brothers: Johnnie Scheckles of Albany, Kentucky

Danny Scheckles of Edinburg, Indiana

Six grandchildren: Joshua Giles, Laura Harvey, Rachel Bardin, Lacy Kohr, Deanna Kohr, Tia Kohr and by 11 great grandchildren

Also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends

She was preceded in death by three children: Paula Baker on March 4, 1996, Johnny Kohr on June 30, 1975 and Paul Ray Coy on July 6, 1967

By two brothers: Robert & Gene Scheckles

Ms. Coy was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Albany, KY and was a retired sewing machine operator in Indiana

Funeral service: Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, Kentucky
