Betty Gilbert, 78 of the Gilbert Road, Glens Fork, Kentucky passed away, Thursday,  September 13, 2018 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio after several weeks illness.

She was born August 19, 1940 in Adair County, Kentucky

She was the daughter of the late:  James Earl and Bessie Burton Corbin

Preceded in death by her husband:   Preston Albert Gilbert

Also preceded in death by a daughter; Betty Ann Gilbert and one son Robert Lee Gilbert and a grandson Preston Allen Gilbert by these siblings Bill Corbin, Jerry Corbin, James Ed Corbin, Mary Harris, Velma Harris

Survived by one son:  Preston Wayne (Maggie) Gilbert of Batavia, Ohio

Two daughters:  Linda Sue Kain and Joyce Allen both of Batavia, Ohio

One brother:  Freddie Corbin of Columbia, KY

One sister: Eula Corbin of Somerset, KY

10 grandchildren also survive and several nieces and nephews

Mrs. Gilbert was a member of the Bloomington Chapel Church and was a former employee of Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, Ohio

Funeral service:   Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating: Bro. Ralph Foster

Interment in the Fudge Cemetery at Breeding, KY

The family request visitation Friday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home
