Bessie Lou Atchley, 95, of Bowling Green and formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Magnolia Village Assisted Living in Bowling Green, KY. She was born in Columbia, KY on June 28, 1928, to the late Sam and Bessie Grider Conover. Mrs. Atchley was a member of the White Oak Community Church.

She is survived several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings James Conover, Hollis Conover, Loretta Sanders, and Lois Haag.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Freedom Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
