BERTIE COOMER, 96 a resident of Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center in Columbia, KY formerly of the Weed Community in Adair Co. KY passed away, Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 6:50 PM at Summit Manor.

She was born October 4, 1918 in Weed, KY the son of the late: James and Frances Roach Brown

She was preceded in death by her husband; Hollis Coomer on March 25, 1979

Survived by one daughter:

Ineze Blythe and husband Danvel of Louisville, KY

Two sons:

Cordell Coomer and wife: Leva Dean Coomer of Portland, KY

Carl Coomer and wife: Sylvia of Columbia, KY

One brother:

James Brown of Edmonton, KY

One sister:

Mary Lena Sneed of Russell Springs, KY

Three grandchildren; Rodney Blythe, Randy Dell Coomer, Shelia Sexton, three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren

Mrs. Coomer attended the Big Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker
