Hospital in Bowling Green, KY

She was born on Oct. 22, 1922 in Adair County

She was the daughter of the late William Parker & Cordia Curry Goodin

She is survived by two sisters Bessie Curry & Gladys McQuaide of

Columbia, KY

Nine nephews & three nieces including Dr. Ben McQuaide & wife Sydney

of Richmond, KY, Harriet McQuaide Gold & husband Neal of Columbia, KY

& Dr. Glenn McQuaide & wife Mary of Columbia, KY

also survived by several great nieces & nephews including Michael & Jonathan

Gold and Sarah& Lauren McQuaide

Several other relatives & friends survives

She was preceded in death by three sisters Emma Goodin 2007, Clarice Holmes

In 1996 & Annie Goodin in 1910 and a brother Clarence Goodin in 1919

She was an active & devoted member of Bearwallow United Methodist

Church where she taught Sunday School for many years & was a United

Methodist Women member

She devoted her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She and her sisters, Gladys McQuaide & Emma Goodin founded

Goodins Rest Home in 1959. She also worked at Adair Memorial Hospital,

Summit Manor, Westlake Regional Hospital and Dr. Siady's office.

She retired in 1997 but continued to care for friends & family.
