Bernice Bennett Wisdom, 76, of Edmonton, KY passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY. She was born on June 18, 1947, in Adair County to the late Frank Clifton and Nora Alice Bragg Bennett.

Ms. Wisdom was a member of the Morris Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Pleasant Ridge Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter Jan Shive (Chris) of Edmonton, KY; a grandson Gage Hunter Shive of Edmonton, KY; two sisters Delsie Gibson of Scipio, IN and Virginia Coomer (Garry) of Edmonton, KY; her dog Zoey: caregiver Paula Whitten and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings Finley Harold Bennett, Lorene V. Bennett, and Vernell Yates.

Funeral services will be 12:00pm Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Saturday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Carl Edwards and Bro. Nick Fields will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jason Bennett, Matthew Blades, Tim Campbell, Barry Froedge, Jason Lacy, and Johnny Reece. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Bragg, Donnie Bragg, Chris Shive, Paul Whitten, Gage Shive, Tonya Reece, and Tammy Haney.
