BENTON HARVEY 83, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 12:39 AM at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY after several weeks illness.

He was born in Cumberland County, Ky on September 10, 1933 the son of the late Curtis and Sallie Nokes Harvey. He was preceded in death by his wife: Blanche Hortense Sneed Harvey on March 9, 2006. Also preceded in death by these brothers and sisters: Russell G. Harvey, William "Pop" Harvey, Ruby Lee Bruce and Catherine Norris

Mr. Harvey is survived by two sons:

Danny Harvey of Columbia, KY

Steve Harvey and wife Angela of Columbia, KY

One brother: Ed Harvey of Columbia, KY

Three grandchildren:

Jessica Harvey, Brian Harvey and Taylor Harvey

Five great grandchildren also survive as well as several nieces and nephews

Mr. Harvey was of the Christian faith, a retired mechanic and farmer
