BARRY DOWELL, 51 of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:50 PM at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY after several months illness.

He was born September 24, 1966 in Columbia, KY

He was preceded in death by his father: Linzie Dowell and by one sister Linda Carol Dowell in 1960

Survived by his mother;   Betty Hoover Dowell of Columbia, KY

One brother:  Larry Dowell of Columbia, KY

One sister:  Donna Stotts and husband Delano of Columbia, KY

Two nephews:  Patrick Stotts of Jamestown, KY and Adrian Stotts of Columbia, KY

Special great nephews and nieces; Evan and Trip Stotts, Kallie, Laney and Miley Stotts

His special friend and pet; Jackson

Barry was a member of the Columbia Union Presbyterian Church and was employed by Bruss North America in Russell Springs.  Barry enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.

The family request visiting from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
