Barbara Jo Rayburn, 80, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Campbellsville, KY. She was born June 1, 1944, in Springfield, KY to the late Shreve and Louise Burris Dile. She married Robert Houston "Bobby" Rayburn on June 28, 1969, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Rayburn was of the Christian faith and an avid Elvis fan. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cross stitching, collecting glass ware and word find games. Barbara Jo was a gentle, sweet, kind, loving, and nurturing lady.

Survivors include her sibling James Logan Dile, Charles Dile (Diane), Johnny Dile, and Joyce Simpson all of Campbellsville, KY; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Connie Cates (Randall Mann) of Campbellsville, KY; a stepson Landon Rayburn of Columbia, KY; a step grandson Neal Rayburn; a sister-in-law Evelyn Dile and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two siblings Kenneth Dile and Sharon Cates and her husband Kenneth Cates, a sister-in-law Judy Dile and a brother-in-law J. R. Simpson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00am-1:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
