Barbara Marie Smith, 76, of Liberty, KY passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, KY. She was born Midland, MI on February 5, 1947, to the late Arthur and Theresa Wilkie Braley. She was also preceded in death by her son Daniel Smith.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was very active in her congregation and with all her spiritual family. She also enjoyed animals and she had countless pets throughout her life, including horses, cats, dogs, a goat, ferrets, and a couple of foxes and racoons. She also thoroughly enjoyed all of her landscaping and miscellaneous assignments on the video game Minecraft with her children Scott and Brandy.

Survivors include three children Scott Smith, Brandy Denson, and Amy Potter, three grandchildren Bridget Denson, Caleb Potter, and Charly Drining (Louis) and three brothers Arthur "Lucky", Roy "Tony", and Michael Braley and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Dwight "Jody" and Andrew Braley.

Mrs. Smith chose cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.
