Avis Withers, age 74 years of 33 So. Bramlett St., Columbia, Ky. passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 11:45 P. M. at Summit Manor Nursing Home Columbia, Ky.

He was the son of the late Rufus & Flora Meece Withers of Russell County, Ky.

Survived by Four daughters: Treva Sparks & her husband Richard, Carolyn Burton & her husband William all of Columbia, Ky., Sherry Curry & her husband Robert of Frankfort, Ky. & Sandy Janes & her husband Richie of Gradyville, Ky.

Four sons: Andy Withers & his wife Debbie, Bro. Bobby Withers & his wife Lesa, Billy Withers & his wife Jeanie & Terry Withers & his wife Melinda all of Columbia, Ky.

Two brothers: Ernest Withers of Louisville, Ky. & Johnnie Withers of Russell Springs, Ky.

One sister: Geneva Johnson of Louisville, Ky.
