Jan. 6, 2014 at 4:15 A.M. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital

in Somerset, KY

He was born on Nov. 1, 1940 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Robert L. & Bertha Wilson Burton

He was preceded in death by two brothers & two sisters

Allen Burton, Albert Burton, Carol Sue Knifley & Gwendolyn Burton

He is survived by two sons

Gregory Burton of Aberdeen, Washington

Arlin Burton of Camden, TN

Four brothers

Mike Burton of Russell Springs, KY, Jerry Burton of Columbia, KY,

Danny Burton of Liberty, KY & Gary Burton of Russell Springs, KY

Three sisters Patricia Thomas of Russell Springs, KY, Brenda Beecher

of Dunedin, FL & Teresa Withers of Louisville, KY

2 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church,

was a retired steel mill worker & served his country in the U. S. Army

Graveside service Thursday Jan. 9, 2014 at 3:00 PM at

Freedom Cemetery, Freedom Church Road, Columbia, KY with burial to follow
