Arlin Downey age 73 years of 5867 Columbia Highway, Greensburg, KY died suddenly Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital Emergency Room in Greensburg from injuries received earlier in a tree limb cutting accident on his farm in Green County.

He was born October 19, 1938 in Adair County the son of the late: Marvin & Thirsie Keltner Downey

He was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Downey Jones on January 5, 2010

Survived by his wife: Janice Bardin Downey of Greensburg, KY

One daughter: Bridgett Lush and husband Charles of Leitchfield, KY

Two brothers survive: Jimmie Downey of Columbia, KY & Thomas Downey of Columbia, KY

Brenda Hatcher of Columbia, KY

Evon L. Legg of Columbia, KY

Zenith Hatcher of Hume, Illinois

Deana Stone of Tuscola, Illinois

Geneva Holmes of Columbia, KY

Preceded in death by three brothers: Hollis Downey, Kenneth "Buck" Downey & Coy Downey

Mr. Downey was a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church and the owner of

A & B Downey Lumber Company for many years.
