Archie Dale Redmon, 61, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on August 22, 1962, in Columbia, KY to the late Robert Thomas and Margaret Madlean Sullivan Redmon.
Mr. Redmon was a member of the Lovedale Church and a former iron worker. He enjoyed being outdoors and working, but his greatest love was spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Rooks Redmon of Columbia, KY; two daughters Miranda Bailey (Jamian) and Corinna Edwards (Jason) both of Columbia, KY; six grandchildren Preston, Roslyn, Aubrey, and Rhett Edwards, and Reid and Nolan Bailey; one brother Bobby Redmon (Cathy) of Columbia, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday, February 5, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Redmon Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Richie Curtis will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jamian Bailey, Jason Edwards, Preston Edwards, Michael Redmon, Tim Baker, and Thomas Hughlett. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Rooks, Lanny Edwards, Danny Edwards, and Jr. Kidd.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Shriners Children Love to The Rescue at 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607 or www.lovetotherescue.org
