passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 at 6:35 PM at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY after several

months illness. She was born October 20, 1938 in Milltown the daughter of the late:

Walter Ray "Jet" & Dimple Johnston Graves of Adair County, KY

She was preceded in death by her husband: Perry Newby in 1998

Preceded in death by three sons Perry Lee Newby in 1990 and by two infant sons

Preceded in death by brothers: Herbert Graves, L.E. Graves, Bobby Graves and a sister Clara Graves

Survivors include:

Three brothers: Ben Graves of Boston, Massachusetts

Mike Graves of Columbia, KY

Foster Graves of Columbia, KY

Two sisters: Nina Cheatham of Campbellsville, KY

Mary Graves of Boston, Massachusetts

A special niece: Dana Rankin of Louisville, KY and a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Ann was a member of the Second Christian Church, a retired farmer and housewife, she was active in

various community activities, she was a long time employee of the Adair County Senior Citizens Center and

at the time of her death a well loved greeter at Wal-Mart in Columbia, KY
