Anna Ruth Barnett, 80, of LaGrange, KY passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at The Springs at Oldham Reserve in LaGrange, KY. She was born on June 5, 1945, in Adair County to the late John Marion and Linnie Hardwick Grant. She was also preceded in death by a brother Donald Grant.

Mrs. Barnett was a member of the Pee Wee Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Clifford James Barnett of LaGrange, KY; two children Sherry Neuner (Chris) and Jimmy Barnett both of LaGrange, KY; five grandchildren Austin Neuner (Stephanie), Jacob Barnett (Katie), Jessica Thompson (Kris), Jillian Madrigal (Jordan) and Ashley Hayden (Branden); a brother Roger Grant (Marsha) of Campbellsville, KY and several other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm CT Friday, January 2, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am CT Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Pastor Joe Schaffer will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Brian Adams, Rick Texas, Brandon Texas, Austin Neuner, Jacob Barnett, Kevin Grant, and Mark Grant.
