Amelia Mercedez Navarro, 63, of Breeding, KY died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at T. J. Health Columbia.  Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico she is the daughter of the late Ernesto Gomez and Cresencia Torres Gomez of Puerto Rico who survives.

Mrs. Navarro was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Anastacio Navarro of Breeding, KY; two children Emilio Navarro of Orlando, FL and Jessica Navarro of Breeding, KY; two grandchildren Adelyn and Lucas Navarro and two siblings Blanca I. Gomez of Puerto Rico and Ernesto Gomez, Jr. of New Jersey.

Graveside services will be 11:00am Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Fudge Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Amelia Mercedes Navarro, 63, de Breeding, KY falleció el martes 2 de febrero de 2021 en el Hosp. T.J. Health Columbia. Nacida en San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, es hija del fallecido Ernesto Gómez y Cresencia Torres Gómez de Puerto Rico, quien le sobrevive. La Sra. Navarro era miembro de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día y disfrutaba ayudar al necesitado y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Además de su madre, le sobreviven su esposo, Anastacio Navarro de Breeding, KY;  dos hijos, Emilio Navarro de Orlando, FL y Jessica Navarro de Breeding, KY;  dos nietos, Adelyn y Lucas Navarro y dos hermanos, Blanca I. Gomez de Puerto Rico y Ernesto Gomez, Jr. de New Jersey. Su velatorio será el sábado, 6 de febrero de 2021,  de 4:00-8:00pm en Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Su sepelio será a las 11:00 am el domingo, 7 de febrero de 2021, en el cementerio Fudge. Por la salud y el respeto de la familia, siga todas las reglas de distanciamiento social y todos los asistentes deberán usar una mascarilla o una cubierta facial.
