April 17, 1935 – October 13, 2025
Amanda Juanita Warren, 90, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Adair County on April 17, 1935, to the late Joe Clayton and Amanda Elizabeth Clayborn Goodin. She was preceded in death by her husband Troy Warren.
Mrs. Warren attended the New Hope Separate Baptist Church and enjoyed flower gardening, yard sales and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons Delbert Warren (Elizabeth) of Lexington, KY and Kelly Warren (Gidgett) of Columbia, KY; six grandchildren Dustin Warren (Gracie), Fred Warren (Sammie Jo), Troy Warren, Scott Grindle (Stephanie), Sarah Grindle, and T. J. Wheeler; five great grandchildren Emmitt Gaines Warren, Arthur Colt Warren, Straten Warren, Jackson Scott Grindle, and Melanie Missy Coy; a sister Margaret Marie Miller of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew Danny Goodin (Loretta).
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Michael D. Warren and nine siblings Anna Lou Goodin, Nathan Leonard Goodin, C.D. Goodin, Reba Etta Duvall, Clemie Ella Newland, Joseph Goodin, Jr., Stanley Goodin, Delta Stargel, and Wesley Goodin.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, October 16, 2025, at New Hope Separate Baptist Church with burial in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home and continue Thursday from 9:00-11:00am at New Hope Separate Baptist Church.
Bro. Raymond Atwood will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Dustin Warren, Fred Warren, Troy Warren, Wesley Burton, Donald Hare, and T. J. Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Goodin, Donald Duvall, Gary Goodin, and Paul Burton.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
