He was born on Feb. 9, 1946 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Garvin Spoon and Thelma Smith Spoon who

besides his mother he is survived by his wife Bonnie Spoon of Fairplay, KY

Three sons: Jeffrey Wayne Spoon of Fairplay, KY

Gary Lynn Spoon of Columbia, KY

Kevin Spoon & his wife Heather of Fairplay, KY

Two brothers: Amon Spoon & his Judy of Fairplay, KY

Lester Spoon & his wife Julita of Fairplay, KY

Four sisters: Arlene Corbin of Columbia, KY

Alterine Hadley & her husband Clifton of Fairplay, KY

Bernadine Judd of Lawrenceville, GA

Geneva Sok & husband Mark of Lexington, KY

10 Grandchilden

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survives

Alvin was a member of Hadley's Community Church & was the

former owner of Alvin Spoon Trucking
