She was born September 28, 1908 the daughter of the late: J.B. and Ida May

Barbee of Columbia, KY

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Garnett on September 22, 1975

Survived by one nephew Joe Russell Barbee and wife Ruby of Columbia, KY

One cousin Robert M. Martin of Lexington, KY

Two great nephews: Joe Lynn Barbee of Columbia, KY

Jim T. Barbee of Alexandria, VA

Mrs. Garnett was the oldest member of the Columbia Baptist Church and the oldest

alumni of Lindsey Wilson College. She was a career Legal Secretary and Court Reporter

Funeral service: Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in the Columbia Cemetery

The family request visitation after 4:00 PM on Monday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
