Allene Collins Aaron, 94, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, KY. She was born in Adair County on April 30, 1929, to the late Vertie W. and Montra Aaron Collins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Calvin Aaron and two siblings Ray and Maxine Collins.

Mrs. Aaron was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church and was a teacher in the Adair County School System, starting in a one room schoolhouse before retiring at John Adair Middle School. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter Annette Aaron Keltner (Greg) of Columbia, KY; a granddaughter Laramie Pelston (Bart) of Columbia, KY; two great grandchildren Greyson and Dawson Pelston; a sister Kathleen Gregory of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, March 4, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Grant Cemetery. Bro. Steve Pescosolido and Bro. Bill Davenport will be officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
