Alice Marie Murphy age 79 of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday May 6, 2018 at 5:18 PM at her home after several weeks illness.

She was born March 24, 1939 in Gradyville, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Edwin and Eva Lee Janes Sneed of Adair County, KY

She was preceded in death by one daughter  Catherine Sue Eller on March 19, 2017, one brother J.T. Sneed

Survived by her husband;  Charles Murphy of Columbia, KY

Survived by two sons:  J. Edwin Brown of LaGrange, KY

James Alan Brown of Columbia, KY

One step son; Andrew Murphy of Glasgow, KY

Three brothers; Lester Sneed of Columbia, KY  Charles Sneed of Russell Springs, KY,    Titus Sneed of Justice, Illinois

One sisters;   Velma Walls of Glasgow,  KY

Four grandchildren    Candace Wooten, Dawn Marie Eller, Christopher Alan Brown,  Jessica Ann (Justin) Gose

Five great grandchildren   Justin Walker, Jacob Hughes, Madison Wooten, Bradley Eller,  Damien Branham

Marie was a member of Hadley Community Church and a homemaker,  she greatly enjoyed the Christmas season.
