MATTIE HUTCHISON  96, formerly of Columbia passed away Sunday,

December 3, 2107 at 7:16 AM at her home in the Symphony at Oaklawn

in  Louisville, Ky 

She was born October 5, 1921 in Campbellsville, KY the daughter of the late Homer and Lettie Feese Roberts Christie

She was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Hutchison in 2000

and by one brother Richard Roberts

Survived by two daughters:  Donna Royse and husband Richard of Jeffersonville, IN    

Deborah Clark and husband Larry of Danville, KY

Four grandchildren:  Wesley Royse (Martha) of Louisville, Ky Nicole Royse DuMontier (Tom) of Staunton, Virginia  Jonathan Clark of Springfield, Illinois

Alexander Clark of Madison, Wisconsin, 

Five great-grandchildren: Ian Royse, Brady Royse, Daniel Royse, Wallis Dumontier, Saskia Dumontier

Mattie was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church,  a former lay leader, member of the Chancel Choir and United Methodist Women and the Fellowship Sunday School Class.  She was a member of Cane Valley Homemakers for over 50 years, member of the Columbia Community Choir and Columbia Women’s Club.

Funeral service:  Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM CST at Columbia United Methodist Church 202 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY

Clergy officiating: Rev. Laura Harris

Interment in the Cane Valley Cemetery

The family request visiting from 9:00 AM until 12 Noon  Saturday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home  and from 12:15 until the funeral hour at Columbia United Methodist Church

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Columbia United Methodist Church Building Fund may be left at the funeral home or church.

Pallbearers: Alexander Clark, Jonathan Clark, Larry Clark, James Roberts, Steve Roberts,  Richard Royse, Wesley Royse
