He was the son of the late Norman & Jewell Antle Bledsoe

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Bledsoe,

Two brothers Leon Bledsoe & Bill Bledsoe

He is survived by five children:

Cathy (Larry) Turner of Fairplay, KY

Barbara (Jimmy) Bunch of Columbia, KY

Karen Bledsoe of Columbia, KY

Tammy (David) Bryant of Greensburg, KY

Two brothers:

Grayson (Anna) Bledsoe of Louisville, KY

Danny (Winifry) of Louisville, KY

Two sisters:

Jeanette Kimbler of Columbia, KY

Shirley (Mick) Green of Ohio 

A good friend Janet Hetzler of Columbia, KY

8 Grandchildren, 1 Step-grandchild,

16 Great Grandchildren, 7 Step-granchildren,

6 Step-Great Great Grandchildren

Nieces, nephew, a host of other relatives & friends survive

John attended the Glensfork Church of the Nazarene

He had requested his body to be given to the University of Louisville

School of Medicine Louisville, KY
