Brenda (Hughes) Grant

Brenda Grant, 66, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at her residence.  Born January 17, 1952 in Portsmouth, VA she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy Moreland Hughes and wife of the late Raymond Allen Grant.  Mrs. Grant enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, she also enjoyed reading.

Survivors include five daughters Michelle Rogers of Eddyville, KY, Beth Ann Pelston (Stevie), Raena Steele (Tommy), Amanda Grant (Jeremy Hancock) and Nicole Booher (Brandon) all of Columbia, KY; a son Shane Grant of Columbia, KY; a brother David Hughes of Portsmouth, VA; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law David Grant of High Falls, GA; two sisters-in-law Phyllis Rogers Green and Marsha Vanarsdale both of Columbia, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral home with burial in the Rogers Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4:00pm Friday at the funeral home. 

Clergy officiating will be Bro. Jimmie Dale Cox and Pallbearers will be Brandon Booher,  David Grant, Jeremy Hancock,  Stevie Pelston, Chuck Rogers and Tommy Steele.
