Huston Pendleton age 77 years of the Vester Community Columbia, KY

 passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at 10:06 AM at his home

He was born on June 22, 1940 in Adair County, KY

the son of the late Finis Ray “Tootie”and Fannie Lea Curry Pendleton

He was preceded in death by his  wife Mary Faye Gilpin Pendleton on

November 14, 2004 and one sister Vivian Joyce Pendleton in 1951

Survived by one daughter:

Lucinda (Karl) Moore of Burlington, KY

Two sons: 

 John Huston (Lesley) Pendleton of Berkeley Lake, Georgia

Stacy (Donna) Pendleton of Louisville, KY

Two sisters:

 Virginia Sue (Junior) Bailey and Dorothy (Bill) Bailey both of Columbia, KY

5 grandchildren: Caleb Pendleton, Mary Pendleton, Marlaina and Makenna Pendleton,Tabatha Taylor,  3 great grandchildren:  Anita Moore, Joseph Moore II & Jaxson Moore

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive

Mr. Pendleton was a member of the Bearwallow United Methodist Church. He was a retired school bus driver for the Adair Co. Board of Education, owner of Huston Pendleton Lime Service, and a farmer.

Funeral service Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Bearwallow United Methodist Church

The family request visiting after 3:30 PM Friday, Saturday from 6:00 AM till 9:30 A.M. at

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home after 10:00 AM at the church

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Bearwallow Cemetery Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
