My sympathy goes out to Cathy's family and friends. I came to know Cathy through the school system - having had quite a few of her grandchildren in class over the years.
She was always so happy and upbeat any time I ran into her, full of joy and love for life. And the one thing that always stood out in my mind was that she LOVED her grandchildren!

My heart breaks for you all and for everyone who ever knew Cathy. She was one in a million. She was a genuine person, she went through many struggles, but always had a helping hand for anyone that needed it.She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister aunt and friend. There are very few in this world as wonderful as Cathy.It hasn't matterd how many miles there have been between us our friendship always stayed strong.I know she is in a better place reunited with family and friends who have gone before her, no more pain ad she will remain with all that love her. RIP my dear dear friend. Our love and prayers are with all that love and will miss her so much.

I know it is going to take time for things to even come close to a new nornal for you, but somehow i hear your mothers voice telling you to get on with being happy , just for her, because she hated putting anyone out.
